Janice Man Wedding, Lake Como Villa Erba
Where better to celebrate the love of beautiful Hong Kong actress Janice Man and her fiance Carl than the stunning Villa Erba? This Lake Como luxury wedding venue was just picture perfect for the happy couple as they enjoyed three wonderful days of celebrations when they tied the knot in October 2020.
Janice and Carl, who works in finance, have been together for five years and it seemed only right that their perfect love was celebrated in perfect style. And, as their local luxury wedding planners in Lake Como, we were delighted to work alongside Marriage Maestros in Hong Kong to help them achieve the event they had always dreamed of!
The three day event started with a welcome cocktail held at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, one of Lake Como’s most beautiful venues. As many guests had travelled so far to be with them on their special day, Janice and Carl opted for a laid back welcome. The Grand Hotel Tremezzo was the perfect setting. We arranged a sophisticated yet relaxed event for the couple, right on the banks of the lake. Guaranteed for full immersion in Lake Como’s legendary beauty! Janice was of course beautiful in a yellow and green kimono, while Carl looked calm and happy in a white suit and bright shirt to match his fiancee’s dress.
The wedding ceremony took place the following day in Villa Erba. Janice looked like a princess – arriving by Riva, the bride wore a custom made dress by Paolo Sebastian which featured a 10-foot long train. Her shoes were Christian Laboutin (who else?) while the dazzling diamond and sapphire tiara was Tiffany.
The fairy tale ceremony was celebrated on the lake, in front of 200 of the couple’s closest family and friends. After cocktails and canapes with a view, Janice changed into a red dinner dress by Kev Yiu for the wedding breakfast. Celebrated wedding producer Vincenzo Dascanio made the villa look amazing! Towers of red roses beautifully complemented the delicate gold porcelain and crystal tableware. And, as if that wasn’t enough, each guest was presented with a personalised gold embroidered napkin, a personalised USB key in a luxurious red velvet box, Godiva chocolates and a gardenia scented candle by Dityque.
After dinner, Janice changed into a Georges Hobeika dress with Jimmy Choo sandals. Ever the romantic, Carl sang a song to his new bride on the piano. After cutting the one metre high cake – which had been designed by celebrity Italian cake designer Mami Louise and had five layers – guests were invited to mingle for dessert, where they could choose their sweet from the carousel buffet! A firework display on the lake for the happy couple finished the evening meal.
To get the party started, Janice changed once again. For her first dance with her new husband, she chose an Ashi Studio dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. And then the happy couple danced the night away and into their new lives together!
